Adaeze is the founder of the online community -Women Investor Network (WIN) - a movement of women who share a vision of building debt free secure financial futures. Her vision is to help African women avoid debt and consistently win with money. She has helped dozens of women change their money habits and take those baby steps to financial freedom. She's a Public speaker and Marketing Specialist, she has an advanced diploma in Banking and Finance, Bachelor’s in Public Administration and a Master’s in Media and Communications from Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos. She started her professional career in the Banking and Asset management sectors, then on to Apparel and fashion, before moving into the non-profit sector. If that is not all, Adeaze is happily married and is has 3 beautiful daughters.  

Janet Bosco, Certified Insurance Professional (CIP)

Janet is Certified Insurance professional (CIP) and holds Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) license.  She has over 10 years' experience in Auto and Home insurance and has held several postions within TD Insurance.  

Janet has her Management Business Administration (MBA) from Indian University. Janet has helped her customers and her team members by providing valuable advice to lower insurance premium, how to take care of your property and avoid potential claims. Janet is active member of Women in Leadership (WIL) and also volunteered for Junior Achievement in Ontario.

In her spare time Janet like's travelling, reading and spending time with her         daughters.

Jenny Cho. Wealth Financial Planner (CFP), TD Bank.

Jenny Cho is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. After finishing her undergraduate degree from York University, She joined TD and has worked in various roles providing financial advice to clients around the GTA.  As a Financial Planner, She helps her clients by designing a personalized wealth management plan and implementing an investment strategy to position them for success in meeting their unique financial goals. Through a diligent discovery process to understand what is important to each clients and a disciplined follow up process, Jenny Cho supports her clients to optimize their financial situation and prepare for any unforeseen events along the way. She is passionate about mentoring and has been a mentor for many new Financial Planners starting their careers and have supported them in their growth. She is also enthusiastic about promoting financial literacy and value of financial planning and has been a part of many seminars and volunteering events to support this cause. On a personal note, Jenny Cho grew up in the west coast, primarily in British Columbia but also a few years in Banff, Alberta (the heart of the Rockies) until moving to Ontario. On her spare time, She enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog, a beautiful shit-zhu in Stouffville, Ontario. She also love music and have just recently started learning the acoustic guitar.  

Kevin Mari, Associate Vice President, Personal Lending, TD Bank

Kevin Mari leads the Acquisition team in Personal Lending with a purpose to help customers achieve their goals and dreams with personal lending solutions such as Loans, Lines of Credit and Overdraft Protection.

Kevin began his career in 2002, where he joined the bank as a part time CSR. He successfully navigated through “Branchland”, attaining multiple positions up to and including Branch Manager. From there, Kevin went on to both spearheading and supporting projects focused on increasing customer experience, empowering colleagues and creating shareholder value in businesses such as Everyday Banking, Personal Savings and Investing, Branch Strategy and Retail Region Office. Some key initiatives that Kevin was part of include launching a customer experience credo across Canada, successfully piloting iPad's and Wi-Fi in branches which led to a national roll-out and creating an Innovative Customer Journey which enabled our colleagues to deliver consistent advice for Savings and Investing customers. On a personal note, Kevin holds a B.B.A. from U of T, specializing in Finance. He has been recognized for his accolades through distinctions such as the Award of Excellence, National and Regional Champions Awards, Annual Spark and most recently winning the Personal Banking Challenge. He has been affiliated with worthy causes including Habitat for Humanity, JDRF, and Bikes for Tykes. He has also served as Board Member and Chair of the Asset Development Committee with the Durham Community Foundation. In his spare time, Kevin's interests mainly include DIY projects around his home and entertaining family and friends. He lives in Scarborough with his wife and 3 year old daughter (though sometimes she seems 13) and has another one on the way. 

Meaghan Moore. Portfolio Manager, TD Bank.

Meaghan is a Portfolio Manager in the TD Insurance Meloche Monnex affinity business and has been with TD for over 4 years. She is responsible for developing partnerships and programs across TD, focusing on specific customer segments within the Affinity business, and acting as a subject matter expert on partnerships and membership needs to create strong programs. She comes from TD by way of a previous career in University fundraising, and her background is marketing, sales strategy and relationship management, with some recent work with product functions. Meaghan lives in the insurance world with a lens on the customer and works with Universities, Professional Associations and Employer groups across Canada on their home and auto insurance programs for members.  Outside of work, Meaghan volunteers with local Toronto charities, particularly through the united way, and spends time planning her next trip abroad

Nancy Sharma, TD Wealth Financial Planner

Nancy holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designations, and has over 8 years of experience in financial services. Her investment management style is based on diligence, a commitment to maintaining a deep understanding of the markets, the economy, and the investment industry to help clients achieve their dreams. After attaining her Arts degree at the University of Guelph, Nancy has worked at two of Canada's largest financial institutions, in addition to holding various roles in the marketing and public relations field. Rina DeGrazia, Vice President, Financial Education, Personal Banking Transformation

Rina is Vice President, Financial Education for TD Bank Group   In her role, she leads the future direction of financial literacy within the organization and drives positive change for our employees, customers and communities across the country. Rina joined TD through the Laurentian Bank acquisition in 2003. Over the last 25 years and especially since joining TD Rina has held a number of roles in sales leadership and enterprise-wide strategy within Branch Banking, Wealth Management and most recently Transformation, all of which have expanded her knowledge and expertise.  Prior to her leading financial education at the bank, Rina was Vice President & Market Leader, where she led the 90 TD Bank retail bank branches across the GTA. Rina is committed to the social development of her community and creating positive impact. She sits on the board for the Georgetown Hospital Foundation, ProAction Cops & Kids (who help to connect local community officers with at-risk youth to create positive experiences) and Halton Food for Thought (which provides universal access to healthy food in schools in Halton region). 

Roy D’Souza Bio. Associate Vice President, Real Estate Secured Lending

 

Roy leads diverse team in the RESL business accountable for Process Optimization, Capability Management & Delivery, Operations Relationship Management, Vendor Management, Innovation and Human Centered Design.
Roy has been with TD for 26 years and has held numerous roles in multiple geographies. Starting with the bank as a CSR in Montreal, Roy has also worked in Corporate Marketing, Retail Banking, Small Business Banking, and Digital Channels. On the Personal side, Roy is married to his University sweetheart and together they have three wonderful children...plus Pepper - their standard poodle.

Sue Macdonald, Associate Vice President, Everyday Banking, TD Canada Trust

As Associate Vice President at TD Canada Trust, Sue leads the Everyday Banking Acquisition Business. She is responsible for the overall strategic direction of driving long-term, meaningful customer relationships through chequing account acquisition. In this role, Sue also oversees the innovation and evolution of the prospecting, shopping and buying experience that meet the personalized needs of customers.Sue began her banking journey at TD Bank over 10 years ago and has advanced her career by building a strong and respected track record in several roles ranging from corporate marketing, sales management and product management across various businesses including Retail Banking, Wealth and Asset Management. Prior to joining TD Bank Group, she held sales, product management and development positions in financial services.Sue received her MBA, from Schulich School of Business, specializing in strategic management. Flo King, Senior New Media Consultant, Ministry of the Attorney General and Serial Entrepreneur

As a direct decedent of an immigrant single-parent on social assistance and growing up in a recognized priority neighbourhood complex - Regent Park, Flo King is no stranger to adversity. A young mother whose post-secondary education was put on hold, one failed marriage, followed by an abusive relationship then an abandoned one too; her son and her entrepreneurial endeavours have been her saving lifeline.

Nikkita Holder. Olympics and World Championships Semi - Finalist.

Nikkita made her Olympic debut at London 2012 after earning a spot on the team with her third place finish at the highly anticipated 2012 Canadian Championships, which featured six women who had all met the 100m hurdles qualifying standard. She made it to the Olympic semifinal after reaching the final at the 2011 IAAF World Championships, where she was the top Canadian in sixth place. She finished fifth at the 2014 Canadian Championships after giving birth to son Kaedence in October 2013. After finishing third in the 100m hurdles at the 2015 Canadian Championships, Holder ran to a bronze medal at the Pan Am Games in Toronto with a season best time of 12.85 seconds, just 0.05 of a second off her personal best mark. She followed that up by advancing to the semifinals at the 2015 IAAF World Championships in Beijing. In 2016 Holder made her second Olympic team in Rio, Brazil. She advanced to the semifinals when she fell at the second last hurdle before the finish line. Despite the fall she got up and finished the race. Nikkita is now pursuing her third Olympics; 2020 Olympics. 

Saadia Muzaffar, Founder TechGirls Canada

Saadia is a tech entrepreneur, author, and passionate advocate of responsible innovation, decent work for everyone, and prosperity of immigrant talent in STEM. In 2017, she was featured in Canada 150 Women, a book about 150 of the most influential and ground-breaking women in Canada. She is founder of TechGirls Canada, the hub for Canadian women in science, technology, engineering, and math - and co-founder of Tech Reset Canada, a coalition of business people, technologists, and other residents advocating for innovation that is focused on maximizing the public good. She serves on the board of Women's Shelters Canada, Waterfront Toronto's Digital Strategy Advisory Panel, and is an ambassador for GEM, a mentorship program for high school girls facing socio-economic barriers. She is part of Canada Beyond 150: Policy for a diverse and inclusive future initiative, and is an advisor to Government of Canada's Economic Strategy table for Access to Skilled Talent. Her work on modern leadership explores big ideas and impactful strategies that address growing challenges for business leaders in today's connected & vigilant markets; and has been featured in CNNMoney, Fortune Magazine, Globe & Mail, VICE, CBC, TVO, and Chatelaine. Saadia is also a Pushcart Prize nominated short fiction writer. In February 2018, her work joins that of Margaret Atwood (The Handmaid's Tale), Gabby Rivera (America), Hope Larson (Batgirl), and Amy Chu (Wonder Woman) in Dark Horse Comics' new anthology featuring comic and prose stories. Karlyn Percil is the Founder & CEO of SisterTalk Group - a certified Neuro- Success & Emotional Intelligence Coach, Elephant Storyteller & Mindset Mentor. A former Bay Street leader, who worked in the Technology and Operations field for over 23 years.
